I am a space industry analyst by day and freelance artist by night. I live vicariously through my artwork and that of others, and I take great pleasure in thinking about our future in outer space. I currently reside in the Washington, DC area.

My artistic objective these days is to add a living element to renderings of outer space; by including the human element, I hope to provide a connection between people and points beyond. Ultimately, I hope to use traditional media to help connect the familiar with the extraordinary.

Since artwork depicting scenes in outer space does not excite many people looking to decorate a living room, I also sketch portraits of people and occasionally animals. I have not painted or sketched many terrestrial landscapes, a situation I hope to change soon. I do enjoy painting and drawing non-space subjects, as it is always important for an artist to return to the fundamentals - to remain grounded.
